Companies With Female Board Members Perform Better

Women Board GraphicEmbracing gender diversity in leadership positions pays off big for companies: The shares of companies with a market capitalization of more than $10 billion and with women on their board outpace similar companies with all-male board representation by a whopping 26 percent, according to Credit Suisse Research Institute.

The research notes that companies with women on the board tend to have lower debt and be more risk averse, which has helped to boost those companies’ successes.
